SANY Heavy Industry has released its 2024 ESG Report, reaffirming our commitment to sustainable, high-quality development powered by green innovation, digital transformation, and inclusive growth. In 2024, we invested 520 million yuan (USD 72.12 million) in environmental protection, taking real actions to support China’s “Dual Carbon” goals and global climate efforts.

Key Highlights

Clean Energy & Green Manufacturing

• Clean energy accounted for 13.8% of total energy use, with PV systems adopted at 21 subsidiaries.
• Energy-saving efforts resulted in cumulative savings of USD 44.38 million.
• VOC emissions down 17.9%, wastewater COD emissions down 84.5% since 2021.
• Continued investment in clean tech R&D and production upgrades.

People & Social Impact

• 89% of overseas employees are local hires; 12% of executives are women.
• A USD 76.23 million employee stock plan benefited 6,241 people.
• Health and safety training reached a cumulative total of 176,441 participants; injury rate held at 1.78‰.
• Donated USD 2.52 million to public welfare in 2024, with cumulative giving exceeding USD 47 million.

ESG Governance & Digital Tools

• ESG structure enhanced at the board level, with 100% attendance in key meetings.
• Smart supervision platform issued 4,568 early warnings and completed 3,754 verifications.
