#DataStudy 👩🏻🔬 After raising the alarm last year about the under-diagnosis of #hypertension and the significant and preventable cardiovascular mortality among women, the Withings Observatory of Health and Longevity has conducted a new large-scale study on the transformations of the body and physiological processes during menopause. 📚 This is the first study on #menopause carried out on such a large cohort and covering all aspects of its impact on women’s health and well-being. ➡️ Discover the results: https://lnkd.in/eNQFFjUj “For a long time, menopause has been viewed simply as the end of menstruation. The symptoms experienced by women were — and still are — underestimated, trivialized, and sometimes even perceived as shameful,” reminds Mathilde Chevalier-Pruvo, a philosopher specializing in women’s health. “In recent years, however, we’ve seen a positive shift that rejects the inevitability of these symptoms and emphasizes that they can and should be managed. Women are still far from being sufficiently informed, and a study like this could be a game changer. What’s essential is that it validates the experiences of many women and breaks the sense of isolation and fatalism.” 📌 Withings reaffirms its commitment to advance research on women’s health. Scientific studies, which have long been based predominantly on male cohorts, are only now beginning to highlight the unique characteristics of female health. #HealthEqualityPriority #Withings #WithingsObservatory #study #sleep #sleepscience
