Reflecting on an inspiring week at the European Space Agency - ESA 2025 Living Planet Symposium with Women in Aerospace Europe (WIA-Europe)! The "Women Trailblazers: series of round tables" aimed to: - Showcase female leadership in space, climate, and technology. - Cultivate collaboration among institutional, industry, and regional partners. - Enhance the visibility of women driving innovation in science and engineering. - Facilitate valuable networking opportunities at ESA's premier symposium. Key Themes: - Tuesday, 24 June – "Stimulating Cooperation": An engaging panel discussion featuring leaders from UNOOSA, EBRD, ESA, and NASRDA (Nigeria) emphasized fostering collaboration across borders. - Wednesday, 25 June – "The Climate Challenge": Experts from the European Commission, MIT Media Lab, LEGOS-CNES, and ESA delved into climate hurdles and innovations. - Thursday, 26 June – "Industry Day": Industry stalwarts from GMV, ACRI, and isardSAT discussed business growth, partnerships, and women's leadership in aerospace. - Friday, 27 June – "Frontier of Technology": Discussing emerging technologies with experts from ESA and UCL. The session examines innovation frontiers in cryosphere science, remote sensing, and engineering.
