Waukesha Gas Engines’ Post

Rebuild or replace? It’s a common question when an engine reaches the end of its run - and too often, remanufacturing is seen as the budget choice. But with our Waukesha reUp Remanufacturing Program, that’s not the case. This isn’t about getting more life out of your engine. It’s giving it a second life that’s better - with lower fuel costs, improved performance and significantly reduced emissions (up to 50% less CO₂). Waukesha engines can be upgraded to current specs using a detailed, multi-step remanufacturing process that includes: 1. Disassembly & Cleaning: Parts are stripped and cleaned to expose any hidden defects. 2. Inspection: Every component is tested against original specifications to help ensure quality. 3. Machining & Assembly: Expert technicians follow the latest specs to restore parts. 4. Testing: Every part is analyzed and certified before it leaves the factory. 5. Painting, Packaging & Shipping: Parts are preserved, packed and shipped in reusable packaging to further reduce environmental impact. It’s a smarter way to extend the value of your asset without starting from scratch or compromising on quality. Same engine, better outcome.
