Volvo Group President and CEO Martin Lundstedt and CEOs from top energy, automotive, and hydrogen technology firms are sending a clear message to European policymakers: the future of hydrogen mobility is crucial for Europe’s climate ambitions and economic strength. At Volvo Group, we believe that we need a mix of technologies to decarbonize heavy transport. Hydrogen is not just an alternative but a necessity for achieving Europe’s climate goals, enhancing industrial competitiveness, and ensuring energy resilience. With the potential to create up to 500,000 skilled jobs by 2030, the time for action is now. The letter from Global Hydrogen Mobility Alliance is signed by more than 30 global companies: https://lnkd.in/dxgKN5sJ
Important topic, great initiative 👍
Very powerful 💪🏻 volvo trucks and 🚌🚐
Will hydrogen mobility vehicles make earth hydrogen bomb?
Hurry up and bring your H2 Trucks on the road. Logistics companies are waiting for you and an increasing number of HRS are in place here in Germany
Great!
Hi,we're supplier of EV parts electric energy conversion(OBC&DC-DC&PDU) motion control(power train 3 in 1 motor controller & reducer into a unit, advanced FAS making vehicle safety & comfortable) & thermal management. They're high integration high efficiency high density saving cost. Interested?
I'm sorry to disagree, but I don't believe it. Compared to purely battery-electric driving, hydrogen is definitely much more complicated, and I think more expensive. The range of electric trucks is constantly increasing, eliminating the need for hydrogen. At the same time, we need hydrogen in the heavy and chemical industries, ships, and aircraft. Personally, I don't believe hydrogen will prevail in commercial vehicles and trucks.
