Great to be in Antalya, Turkey 🇹🇷 today with Bastien Sibille at the invitation the Turkish National Cooperative Movement for the General Assembly of Cooperatives Europe. Thank you dear ünal örnek for the great organization and warm hosting of this event !! 🙏🙏 Always a great moment to gather with our colleagues from all across the European continent that share in common the willing to build a better world, specially in those times of International Year of Cooperatives for the International Cooperative Alliance and United Nations. It is a reminder of the activities conducting during year 2024 but the Cooperatives Europe and team under the leader of President Petar Stefanov and thanks to the effort of Agnès Mathis ‘s team : - advocacy (jointly with the EUCC I was honored to be chair of during 2024) - gender equality - education (viva the European cooperative education Anu Puusa !!) - #Coops4dev 🌍 in Europe - visibility and communication General Assembly was also elective this year and I had the great pleasure to assist to the election of our new president : giuseppe guerini !! 👏👏👏 As representative of Coop FR, les entreprises coopératives , I am super happy and excited to have been reelected as member of the board to persue the work engaged with the EUCC (European Union Coordination Comitee) to support our advocacy efforts towards European institutions. Congratulations to my colleagues elected at the board : Jacques DEBRY, Stephen Gill MMCCU, Mieczysław Grodzki, @illia gorokhovskyi, Mariam Gabrielyan, Andreas Kappes, @teodora kuzmanova, Iñigo Albizuri Landazabal, Catiuscia Marini, ünal örnek, Anu Puusa, Vivian Woodell ! 👏👏 I wish this new presidency and board all the successful works that our movement needs and deserves in Europe and across the world 🌎 at a time of such challenges for peace, democracy, sustainability and recognition by official institutions of the specificities of the cooperative model. The work program for 2025 was unanimously approved, so let’s keep magnifying the transformative power of the cooperative movement !
