The Walt Disney Company’s Post

For 70 years, every single day, Disneyland Resort has honored veterans with an American tradition. Since its founding, Disney has been dedicated to the ideals and dreams that created America. It's where heroes work and veterans are celebrated. This Fourth of July, Disney is proud to celebrate that legacy.

There are no words to express how I have felt about Disney my entire life. As the daughter of a Veteran USAF Colonel, we were for the most part hidden from Civilians but always taught we were safe at Disney resorts. Disney resorts were the only places my family regularly was able to interact with Civilians. Now, I thoroughly enjoy dedicating my time to making ✨magic✨ for Disney and improving Cast and Guest Experience by being the best Cast Member I can be.

There’s something incredibly moving about a tradition like this—quiet, consistent, and full of meaning. As a team that tells stories for a living, we’re reminded that the most powerful stories don’t always need a camera. Sometimes, they live in daily gestures like this. Much respect to The Walt Disney Company for keeping it going, 70 years strong.
