📸 Technopolis Group in the spotlight at the Cloud & AI study’s Interim #Workshop at European Commission (DG CNECT) premises! The hybrid workshop, that took place on 6 June, involved more than 130 participants who attended in person or online, covering a diverse set of stakeholder groups, including: 🤖 AI providers and deployers ☁️ Cloud service providers and data centres 🧪 Technology experts from industry and research ⚖️ Regulatory experts 💶 Financial investors and EU 🏛️ National public administrations The workshop served to present and discuss the preliminary findings of the Cloud & AI study concerning respectively: 1️⃣ the existing capacity and future needs for general-purpose and AI-optimised infrastructure computing, 2️⃣ challenges and opportunities in cloud and AI development across EU Member States, and 3️⃣ preliminary policy intervention topics based on available evidence. The workshop sought to gather expert views on the findings. Technopolis Group, together with Wavestone, Timelex, STL Partners, OpenForum Europe and Kapa Research, is carrying out the study to provide research and empirical evidence to evaluate the current and future Cloud and AI landscape on behalf of DG CNECT.
