First gas has been achieved in Wilhelmshaven! 🇩🇪 The IQuay F-Class system is now in active operation – enabling jettyless transfer of LNG at one of Europe’s most strategic energy hubs. This marks a historic milestone: the first gas is now flowing through our IQuay system in Wilhelmshaven II. Developed in close collaboration with TES, ENGIE, and DET Deutsche Energy Terminal GmbH, the terminal is a landmark achievement for Europe’s energy infrastructure, combining cutting-edge innovation with environmental stewardship. 🌊 Installed 1.5 kilometers offshore in the ecologically sensitive Jade Bay ⚡ Connected via seabed-laid pipelines and power/data lines to shore 🦪 Featuring Europe’s first use of ultrasound to prevent fouling in an FSRU seawater system The IQuay F-Class is more than a technical solution. It’s proof that scalable, modular, and environmentally conscious infrastructure is not just possible – it’s operational. We’re proud to contribute to this future-forward model for energy transfer.
