TL;DR: Amazon Web Services (AWS) announces the next update to its 𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗴𝘆. With a focus on enterprise security and scale, it's a very Amazonian approach to how agents get built and deployed. I have been talking a lot about secure and resilient agents over the last several months and so eager for you all to look at Agent Core. AgentCore components mapped to my earlier posts as reference: • Secure (sandboxed) elastic runtime - https://bit.ly/3Iy8mhc • Agent Identity - https://bit.ly/46RsvZE • Memory - https://bit.ly/4kJeDnE • Agent (MCP ready) Gateway - https://bit.ly/44ByrEM in addition to Observability, Tools (Browser, Code Interpreter) and an Agents Marketplace. Use Strands as the agent OSS framework or pick any other framework like CrewAI, LangGraph and deploy secure agents to AgentCore and while using ANY LLM (Claude, GPT, Gemini, Llama etc). Open Model, Open Framework, Open Standards all on a secure resilient agentic runtime is what makes AgentCore unique. So much more to talk about all of these innovations. It's available in your AWS console today! (us-east-1, us-west-2, Sydney and Frankfurt). Learn more here: https://go.aws/4lrexCp
Raghvender Arni - Congrats and great to see AWS launch Bedrock AgentCore. The key differentiators for enterprise being its secure, sandboxed runtime with identity, memory, gateway, observability and tools marketplace that truly bridges the gap from PoC to enterprise-grade agentic AI at scale. Could be a game changer for secure AI ops.
