For 46 years—my entire lifetime—the window for real change in Iran has remained shut. Tonight’s events may be the crack that lets in the light. But unless there’s a decisive push from within, nothing will change. My 99-year-old grandmother fled Iran during the revolution with a single suitcase—she never returned. Yet to this day, she keeps a bag packed, ready to go back to the home she remembered - the one I hope to see in my lifetime. The regime is small in numbers, but its grip is anchored by decades of entrenched power and psychological control. Israel has made its statement—but they won’t determine Iran’s future. Nor should the U.S. What the U.S. can do is support the Iranian people in reclaiming their nation—on their own terms. Not through military imposition, but by amplifying their voices, backing their right to self-determination, and applying meaningful pressure to dismantle the regime’s tools of suppression.
Courage from a few can make a new change happen if we outsiders help with protection in some way.
Good points across the board. Like you said what the U.S. can do now is support the Iranian people in reclaiming their nation. The mullahs have not done the Iranian people any favors in the last 40 years, opting for theological ideas stuck in the past instead of allowing an educated society to join a global economy that embraces innovation and change.
Thank you Parí for sharing So true Many of us been waiting for a long time Hopefully soon
Hopefully the crack gives the people of Iran the courage to rise up and reclaim their once proud country.
Shame this administration is not the one to be interested in the opinions of anyone outside it's own oligarchy and narrow factional view of the world.
MIGA!
Bravo, Pari.
My aunt and her 3 daughters were killed in Israel bombings! Such a tragedy! 😞
May the people of Iran seize this moment.

3wYou can't sit there in safety outside Iran and say that WORDS will free your people. Our Persian cousins need our military help or they will just continue to get slaughtered by the islamonazi invaders. It doesn't matter if 90% of Persians resist. Without weapons they cannot free themselves. The IRGC is brutal. They don't hesitate to murder as many as they want. It's already happening today since Trump made his ceasefire announcement that nobody else agreed to....
