Vibe coding isn’t the future of design — it’s vibe no-coding 🎨 Bessemer Venture Partners just published “AI-powered R&D” outlining a modern AI design workflow on Figma, v0, and Cursor. The process: 1️⃣ Design static visuals in Figma. 2️⃣ Import Figma → v0 to prototype complex interactions. 3️⃣ Handoff Figma / v0 prototype → to engineers. 4️⃣ Later, design refines the engineers’ code with tools like Cursor. It’s an impressive stack — if you’re comfortable working in and around code. But here’s the thing: most designers aren’t. These AI code tools are amazing. I just don’t believe they’re the endgame. Code-first workflows won’t unlock AI’s full power for all designers. Here’s the real problem: 1️⃣ Figma’s editing is intuitive — but it lacks the power of code. 2️⃣ Code is powerful — but it lacks Figma’s intuitive editing. The answer is simple: rebuild a design tool that integrates the power of code into a Figma-like canvas anyone can edit. Sure…easier said than done. But it *can* be done, and it *should* be done. That’s a vibe no-coding platform where you and your AI build real apps without leaving the design canvas, or touching a line of code. Which still exports production-grade code when you’re done. No-code is the only way to unlock AI’s full potential for all designers — not just those comfortable in code. The future belongs to tools that meet designers where they are, not ones that push them into code. That's why we're building for this future at Phase. We're not there yet — it’s a hard problem, but it's one we think's worth solving. → The future of design isn’t about moving designers into code tools. → It’s about making code unnecessary in design. → It’s about vibe *no*-coding. ---- 📝 Read the article by Bhavik N. - https://lnkd.in/gidbK7Ju #NoCode #AIForDesign #UXDesign #DesignTools #FutureOfDesign #ProductDesign

There is a likely near future where you don't transfer the design to development but sync it so the design/system/tokens is the single source of the truth. - a future where the frontend is almost no-code or prompt because of Figma MCP. The cursor integration right now is not optimal. I actually believe Figma make more precisely captures details and colors and icons. But in a near future all this is fixed. And what you design is what you get.

2wGood shot.. However, you can go a step further and use the MCP server and connect to Cursor. Half as much work. That's how we do it... 🚀💻 Server, Cursor, Work, Efficiency. #Coding #Automation #Tech https://www.figma.com/blog/introducing-figmas-dev-mode-mcp-server/
