Does these expense in favor of Ukraine count as increased spending on national defense ? Because I am in favor of a strong Europe and NATO but it is crazy to see how much we find money to spend now on weaponry

Thank you for supporting Ukraine and for every decision that brings us closer to victory. It really matters to millions of people here. But today, I need to ask you from the bottom of my heart. Please, for God’s sake, I am begging you — we need real help and more weapons. With my small salary, I’m ready to work all my life just to buy even one bullet or take a loan to get it — anything to protect us. My people are dying every day and every night. My friends and my brothers are on the front line, fighting with their last strength and breath. They desperately don’t have enough weapons. I know you can do more. Please, give us the support we need to defeat this evil imperialism of Putin. We must destroy this threat together, so our children can live without fear and occupiers.
