What started as a quick chat for Bloomberg’s Ashish Verma turned into a long, energized conversation about where our industry is headed — and how brands need to evolve now or risk irrelevance. (The future doesn’t wait!) We opened the doors of the Mastercard Villa to distinguished guests and industry leaders — a powerful reminder of how connection and culture transcend borders. And the night wrapped with PTTOW! opening reception, which absolutely delivered: incredible people, unforgettable energy, and a space that made everyone feel part of something special. Great first few days and genuinely excited for what’s to come!

When marketing “meets its moment,” three struggles surface fast: Externally: The velocity of change outpaces legacy playbooks. Internally: Even top leaders feel the gap between knowing we must evolve—and knowing how. Philosophically: If marketing is more than storytelling, what is it now? Moments like Cannes remind us: this isn’t about catching up. It’s about redesigning the role of marketing before it gets redesigned for us.
