Fake videos. Fake soldiers. Fake riots. Disinformation isn’t just noise — it’s a weapon aimed at democracy itself. Today at the Conseil de l'Europe, young developers, designers, and thinkers from across Europe are joining forces to fight back. This is Europe’s first hackathon on innovating democracy!

Inspiring to see the Council of Europe (Alain Berset) mobilizing bright minds to safeguard democracy from the threats of disinformation. This strongly resonates with our “Democracy” group work during the "Strategic Foresight" course at the Geneva Graduate Institute earlier this year. "Cette manière de traiter le concept de démocratie chez les jeunes est très pertinente. Il est d’une grande valeur de connaître leur perception réelle et de faire une analyse pour savoir si les institutions éducatives en font suffisamment afin que ces jeunes comprennent, apprécient et, surtout, soient prêts à lutter pour la défendre."

Censorship is the weapon aimed at democracy itself. You are just promoting censorship and control over media, nothing else.

⚖️ The so-called "State of Israel" operates as an institutionalized apartheid regime, as documented by UN ESCWA Report E/ESCWA/ECRI/2017/1, and reaffirmed by leading human rights organizations including Human Rights Watch (2021) and Amnesty International (2022). This regime is not only a military occupier but a settler-colonial, racial-supremacist entity, rooted in ethnic cleansing and systematic violence. Its policies of forced displacement, home demolitions, siege, targeted assassinations, and collective punishment meet the legal criteria of State terrorism, persecution, and crimes against humanity under Articles 7 and 8 of the Rome Statute The Zionist system functions through terror, apartheid, and armed ethnic domination. It has killed thousands of civilians, bombed hospitals and schools, starved populations (Gaza siege), and incited extermination rhetoric — all documented in UN reports A/78/333 (2023) and A/HRC/52/76 (2023) Conclusion: We are not facing a normal state. We are facing a racist, colonial, genocidal entity that must be held accountable under universal jurisdiction

Amazing to see how Alain Berset puts the Council of Europe on the record, including all generations in his efforts to reflect on current challenges in Europe and beyond.

Je partage votre enthousiasme, Alain

Israel is not a democracy — it is a violent, apartheid, settler-colonial regime built on ethnic cleansing, land theft, and systemic dehumanization. Since 1948, its existence has depended on massacres, forced expulsions, and the erasure of the Palestinian people. What’s unfolding is not a “war” — it is a genocide executed with military precision and broadcast to the world in real time. No narrative of historical suffering justifies the bombing of hospitals, the starvation of children, or the annihilation of entire families. These are not “security measures” — they are war crimes and crimes against humanity, defined clearly in the Geneva Conventions and the Rome Statute. Israel is not defending itself — it is enforcing supremacy through mass murder, displacement, and terror. This is not self-defense. This is fascism, occupation, and open defiance of international law. No settler-colonial entity has the right to exist at the expense of an indigenous people. The so-called international community’s silence is not neutrality — it is complicity. The Zionist regime must be isolated, dismantled, and held accountable. Justice delayed is genocide prolonged.

This is not a conflict — it is a Zionist terrorist regime, morally bankrupt, legally disqualified, and ethically exposed. A system built on genocide, apartheid, forced displacement, starvation, and the systemic destruction of civilian life. It is not a “state” — it is an apparatus of mass murder driven by colonial ideology and racial supremacy. 🔻 Morally bankrupt 🔻 Legally condemned 🔻 Internationally isolated 🔻 Universally discredited You bomb refugee camps, flatten hospitals, starve children, and silence truth with propaganda and impunity. This is not self-defense — this is state-engineered extermination. The world sees. The crimes are documented. And international justice is loading: ✔ Genocide – Rome Statute, Article 6 ✔ Crimes against Humanity – Article 7 ✔ War Crimes – Article 8 ✔ Forcible Transfer – Geneva Convention IV, Article 49 You are perpetrators — not defenders. No immunity. No expiration. Justice is coming.
