MBDA reached a new industrial milestone with the production of the 2,000th #MISTRAL 3, the latest generation of very short-range #airdefence systems. On this occasion, the 2,000th MISTRAL 3 was presented to the DGA - Direction générale de l'armement on June 25 at our Selles-Saint-Denis production site. This achievement is the result of long-lasting trust and #cooperation with the French armed forces, and serves as proof of the MISTRAL 3’s reliability, versatility and its ability to evolve to counter emerging threats such as drones. The MISTRAL 3 is in service in numerous countries around the world, and has notably been selected by 9 European nations under the #EDIRPA initiative — strengthening Europe’s collective air defence posture. To meet this growth in demand, production rates have ramped up since 2022 — with output set to be multiplied by 4 by 2025.
