MANE and PyD hold an inspiring perfumery workshop at URJC in Madrid On 25 June, MANE and Perfumes y Diseño (PyD) held a full-day workshop entitled El Perfume en la Moda: Historia, Estilo, Marca y Cultura [Perfume in Fashion: History, Styles, Brands and Culture]. The event was organised by Universidad Rey Juan Carlos (URJC), a leading academic institution in Madrid, Spain with a strong focus on science, innovation, and promoting arts and culture. The day started with an engaging olfactory workshop led by Anaïs Paillard, Fragrance Development Coordinator at PyD, with the participation of Julien Gauthier, Assistant Perfumer at MANE. During the workshop, students got to better understand the process behind fragrance creation and explored new scents through a selection of ingredients provided by MANE. In the afternoon, Julien Gauthier gave an inspiring talk on green perfumery, underlining the importance of sustainability and innovation in our industry. He introduced students to GREEN MOTION™, MANE’s tool for assessing the environmental impact of fragrance compositions. He also talked about MANE’s cutting-edge extraction techniques, such as JUNGLE ESSENCE™, which produce highly pure natural extracts with minimal ecological impact. We’d like to express our sincere thanks to URJC for their warm welcome and our heartfelt appreciation to PyD for their enthusiasm and hard work. #Fragrance #GreenPerfumery #PyD #MANEfragrances
