It is astounding how the "my life was great for 3.5yrs under DJT" crowd is able to totally ignore the prior 8yrs under Obama required to make that happen, and the past 4yrs of pain, deaths, and economic collapse caused by Trump's abject failure on combating the COVID epidemic. The above was my morning tweet on the X platform.

In response to Trump being elected, many folks are writing on social media about taking time to mourn; others are already debriefing on what happened and what’s next. I want to offer something slightly different, that perhaps is relevant to both of these responses: It’s gonna be a longer haul. It’s gonna take longer to bend that arc of the universe toward justice. Probably a lot, lot longer. We’ve got to steel ourselves for this. We’ve got to keep the long view in front of us, as well as this very moment — at the same time. Recognize the present and create the future. To do this, we’ve got to pace ourselves. Fuel ourselves. Sleep. Eat decent food. Maintain. Move. Charge our batteries. Fill our reserve tanks. Keep our eyes on the prize. It is the only way. (With apologies for mixed metaphors and mashing up much received wisdom.)

Of course the Biden administration has time for this but didn't take a minute to lock down the borders 😬 Shoutout to the supposed hundreds of thousands of illegal immigrants 🔥🔥🔥 💀 💀 💀 Whatever I said above? Hopefully it helped you crack a smile, but I didn't entirely mean it. Here's why: As you could probably tell, I am strongly Republican. I absolutely believe that Trump is a better president than Biden, and that Biden didn't do his job as well as he should have. That's just me. But I also don't want to dismiss the beliefs of Biden, his administration, or his followers. To any Democrats that read this, I have no beef with you at all. As unreachable as it is, I really hope that one day this country might not be so focused on fighting each other when it comes to politics but rather just making this country a better place. Biden may not have been the president I personally wanted in office, but I still respect him for taking all the rough criticism thrown at him and staying in office anyways. And if you look at his character outside of his political standpoint, he really does seem to be a really kind guy. I don't follow Trump because he's Trump, but I want him as president simply because he aligns with my values. And we all know that the only reason people even really care about politics anymore is the economy. It's all about how the country is making money and where we stand compared to the rest of the world. But to me, since I don't even have a job, I personally believe that the economy isn't entirely in the hands of the prez. Like I said before, Biden could've done a better job. But the economy and international wars aren't entirely his fault. Hopefully this changes someone's view on how we should view politics, and maybe we can all stop arguing with each other just because we don't all believe in the same political party. So long as the president is fundamentally a good person and is committed to making the world and the country a better place, they're ok with me. And that's what we should really be looking for in our leaders. This is how I personally feel(and anyone is obviously free to disagree with me), but I believe there's never a bad time to say something kind. Even now, the couple’s dynamic remains as thrillingly enigmatic as Trump’s presidential policies. As for the rest of the day, Trump was sworn in with VP JD Vance, while Eric Javits’ hat design stole the spotlight—and maybe the oxygen—from conversations near Melania. President Trump needs ANOTHER miracle to win re-election in November. Hollywood, Google, and the mainstream media have created a momentum around Kamala while hiding and suppressing the truth about who she really is. HOWEVER Our God is a god of miracles. Donald Trump must forget about crowd size and use his authority as a chosen leader to seek and inquire of God. Spiritual battles have their own rules. Please pray that President Trump God will be open to a new approach that includes seeking godly wisdom in every endeavor. If President Trump will seek God and listen and obey, our nation might get a reprieve from the destruction and judgment that a Harris/Walz victory would wreak on the nation and the world. I believe what Trump does or doesn’t do in prayer will have far reaching consequences. Already many bad decisions have been made. We know Satan is the author of confusion. President Trump is in the crosshairs of evil. He cannot defeat evil using campaign consultants who themselves are not attune to God. A new approach is needed.
