My inbox is flooded with messages of support and gratitude. Thank you everyone for reaching out. I was mentally prepared for this outcome, so I am ok. I hope you are too. To everyone feeling this big loss today: of course this hurts, deeply. Failure is never easy. But we have to listen to our country. And we can't stop listening just because we don't like what we hear. I am proud and heartened to see a peaceful transfer of power set in motion. I send my congratulations to the Trump campaign and pray that the new administration is good for all Americans. I send my congratulations to the Harris campaign for working tirelessly and putting up a mighty fight in 100 days with all the odds stacked against. To everyone else, deep breaths and a hug. I regret nothing. And I move forward with optimism.

Thank you, Leslie, for your leadership and insight. “We the People”work better together when we have a leader to help organize and guide us. When our freedoms and health are being compromised we have to be vigilant and stand our ground. I hope you can keep the VCs group together because we are going to need their strength, support, experience and expertise to continuously defend the very issues an authoritarian regime seeks to control. Like disregarding a women’s health & abolishing Climate Change safeguards. How are we going to defend the most basic principles of democracy? An important area to focus on is educating the public about the significance of voting. Not the something that just arises every few years, when all of a sudden a bombardment from every media begging for donations. That limits the power of the people & of our voice & our vote. We must practice every day. We need to bring the word “vote” into our everyday conversation. In essence we vote everyday with the products we choose to buy and every decision we make on a daily basis. Our vote is our voice and is a rare and precious privilege. Let’s hope we can have another opportunity to be heard. We have just begun to fight back so we can move forward. ✌️🙏

Thank you for mobilizing and making sure people understood there are other voices out there. Keep going!

The quality of leadership and collaborations that emerged out of the last few months has been nothing short of extraordinary (from this, and other aligned groups). Thanks to you and your colleagues for taking the initiative and building the momentum. That in and of itself is a big win and deserves acknowledgement and appreciation. While the election itself ended as it did, the relationships and magic that were built during this time will serve us all well throughout our professional and personal lives. The energy spent and momentum built are ours regardless of who is in power. Thank you again.
