On #WomenInEngineering Day — and following the momentum of the #WomenInAerospace initiative at the Paris Air Show — we’re proud to reshare this interview with Gergana, Program Quality Engineer at our Plovdiv site in Bulgaria. 👩🔬
Her story reflects the talent, precision, and drive that women bring to engineering every day — within our global Latecoere teams and throughout the #aerospace industry.
To all the women breaking boundaries, solving complex challenges, and shaping the future of aerospace: thank you. You’re building a more innovative, inclusive, and high-flying future. 👏

When I travel now with aircrafts, I'm looking the aircraft on a different way. I can tell my child, see maybe I was working on this project and he's really proud of me. My name is Gergana, I'm from Bulgaria. I'm the connection between the OR the queer plant in Bulgaria and the customer Airbus. I'm managing the quality topics on the nose fairing 8350 line. In the field of quality when you need to. Improve something? Your imagination should work really hard. You need to find the solutions really fast. You need to implement the actions really fast. I love the environment here, but colleagues are the best one. Actually, I think this is the not. I think I'm sure that this is the best team. For Charlotte, the query is providing me a good balance between work and personal life. My favorite destination is to go to the beach or deep in the mountains to switch off. And to spend more time alone with a book or with a company of really good friends. And family, of course. Last week here we have a green green week. Thing that we did here during the the green week is to plant some trees around the factory. It's really a huge pleasure for me to do this. This company gives me the opportunity to work further on my ideas and to improve the environment here.
Well done!
