"TV is evolving. Adapt!" Every year around Memorial Day, I do The Big Switch -- Put away Winter clothes and break out the summer wear. Most of my AdTech swag went into the donation pile, but I kept this 13 year old T-shirt, to remind me of the amazing people I had the honor of working with, and the ridiculous amount of pressure we all felt to push a company, and an industry, forward. Adap.tv was not only an innovative SaaS platform, but it was a crash-course in how to build a plane in mid-flight, with everything on the line. There were so many lessons I had to learn and relearn that help me to this day, starting with ATV's Core Principals, which included, but not limited to: -- We Own Our Work! The successes AND the failures. If you make a mistake, own up to it, learn from it, move forward. -- No One is Above Picking Up a Broom! Doesn't matter what position you have at the company, if the floor needs to be swept and you're standing next to a broom, get to work! -- Keep Moving Forward! No matter what happens. Very late chiming in here... apologies! I could not agree more, adap.tv was a truly truly special company with an amazing group of supremely talented folks (look at what everyone has gone on to accomplish since our time together!!!). Thanks Doug MacDonald for kicking this off... great to go down memory lane! I am a big +1 to a reunion!
