Case Study: Wahoo Learning – Ground Floor Refurbishment, Crewkerne We were delighted to partner with Wahoo Learning on the transformation of their ground floor workspace. The brief was clear: create a collaborative, welcoming environment that encourages flexible working, supports wellbeing, and reflects the brand’s identity. Our concept proposal focused on maximising impact while staying within budget. We adopted a value-engineering approach to ensure cost efficiency without compromising design integrity. To support a more collaborative way of working, we removed two dividing walls to create a brighter, more connected layout. This opened up the floorplate, allowing teams to move freely between zones and encouraging a healthier balance between social and focused work. The reception and breakout area was reimagined as a warm, inviting space for staff to step away from their desks, relax, and recharge. Two collaboration tables one high, one low were introduced with a variety of seating to support informal meetings, solo focus time, and team sessions alike. The design palette blends soft neutrals with Wahoo’s brand blue, elevated by subtle touches of green and yellow to create an energising yet calm atmosphere. Painted arches on the walls reflect the architecture of the arched window reveals, reinforcing a sense of visual flow and biophilic design. These subtle curves and bold colour accents bring personality and warmth, while drawing natural light deeper into the space.
