We are proud to announce that the Congress Committee on Social Inclusion and Human Dignity has now approved the revised Charter on the Participation of Young People in Local and Regional Life. Disapproval carried out together with the Joint Council on Youth of Council of Europe, shows us more than policy. It shows us how important it is to involve young people and their organizations and do policy with them for young people, because we are not just mere participants, we are human rights defenders. And democracy developers. And that starts with standards set on a local.
