Hi everyone, I have some exciting news to share. After nine incredible years, I will soon be leaving my role at Microsoft to become CEO of WPP. I am deeply grateful to Microsoft and the amazing people and teams I have been privileged to work alongside. Satya Nadella, Brad Smith, Judson Althoff are truly inspirational leaders and I have learned so much from them. My heartfelt thanks to them and to the countless other friends and colleagues who have supported me throughout my time with the company. It’s tough to leave such an extraordinary organization, especially now in the middle innings of the AI transition. But some opportunities are so special and unique that you just have to go for it! WPP is a company I know and love – not only from my six years on the board but as a client and partner for many years before that.
