As the Global Lead of the Disability Advancement Workplace Network (DAWN) at Bristol Myers Squibb, I’m proud to help launch our recognition of Disability Pride Month—a time to celebrate the contributions, creativity, and lived experiences of people with disabilities. This year, our theme is BELIEVE, which reflects our commitment to building a culture where everyone is empowered to thrive, and where disability inclusion is not just acknowledged, but actively championed. Throughout July, DAWN is creating space for reflection, storytelling, and creative expression—amplifying voices and perspectives that too often go unheard. From global conversations to artistic showcases, we’re inviting colleagues to explore what it means to believe in themselves and in each other. Our keynote event, “BELIEVE in Possibility, Purpose and Progress,” will feature two extraordinary voices: Eric LeGrand, a powerful advocate for people with paralysis, and Mandy Harvey, an award-winning deaf singer and songwriter whose story continues to inspire. Disability inclusion is not a moment—it’s a movement. And I’m honored to be part of a company that believes in leading it. What does BELIEVE mean to you? #DisabilityPrideMonth #ProudToBeBMS
To me, BELIEVE means seeing the possibilities and creating a path for that. Possibilities are what drive people with disabilities to overcome challenges, achieve their goals, and inspire others with their resilience and determination. Let's BELIEVE we can!
Diversity and inclusion are vital for any strong company culture. Similarly, when operating globally—especially in China—companies must prioritize compliance and cybersecurity to ensure long-term resilience. QTS Global supports navigating these complex challenges.
Beautifully written, Jenny. Thank you for your dedication and work on D&I! #inspiring #makingadifference
Thank you for raising awareness to this vibrant segment of our community. Your leadership has been key to elevating the contributions of all people with disabilities in and out of the company. I look forward to all of your great programming!
On a personal front, for me, believe is hope and trust that fills the gap between what is and what could be. Congratulations Jenny Sargeant for believing and encouraging others to do the same. Glad to see people care so deeply about the small intangible things (belief/hope) in life which can work wonders.
You are an outstanding global leader, Jenny. Proud to work alongside you in the Cancer Support Network.
Love this, Jenny
Your passion and commitment shine through in everything you do truly uplifting.
Thank you for your leadership, Jenny! Your commitment to disability inclusion helps propel belief that there are brighter days on the horizon.
