This isn’t Deanna Kuhlmann-Leavitt's first rodeo—but her latest venture feels like a powerful next chapter. With her husband, Rob Leavitt, she’s launching Pershing Works, Inc. while continuing to lead Kuhlmann Leavitt, Inc. We recently caught up, and I shared with her the same practical blueprint I’ve used to build Clayco. I believe in Deanna and was proud to offer her some hard won lessons learned and advise that helped me start my business. Strategy. Sales. Culture. Values. These aren’t buzzwords—they’re the foundation of a business that lasts. Below are a few of the thoughts I shared: - Hire the best and brightest, Curate your team carefully - Don’t hesitate to de-select toxic or misaligned people - Sell. Sell. Sell. - Operate by the Golden Rule. And for the record, I was also showing her how to use artificial intelligence which kept our notes and wrote this longer version of my advice to her on the blog. It’s interesting that it changed my original priorities, but I’m not opposed to new thinking. Check it out here: https://lnkd.in/gXwgQbHx
How impressive Deanna - I’m sure you’re set to have another smashing success story!
Love this, Bob!
Congrats and good luck!
Hi Deanna Kuhlmann-Leavitt Great to read this update! Best wishes.
Incredible! Deanna Kuhlmann-Leavitt Congratulations! And I love to see Bob Clark mentoring so many women in our business. Nice work, Bob!
Bob, it was so generous of you to share these insights with Deanna ... and also with the rest of us (people like me who follow you, but don't know you). I'm just running a small consultancy, not a big, complex business. But I got several wake-up calls from reading your advice. I'm very grateful and am saving that longer version: I will start using this today.
Congrats Deanna & Rob. 🎉
Go Deanna!
