- There is a huge demand to get satellites and spacecraft up off the
ground and into space, but as a planet, we do
not have enough rockets to get them there. - Ansys is a real key
partner for us in simulation because of the breadth of the tools that they offer in one standard platform, whether that's through
software on the backend or automation that we can add on top. - Physical testing of most things, and especially rocket engines,
is incredibly expensive. - If you can cut out a certain number of full-scale build cycles and rely more on analysis, that can really bring you
to that first launch faster. Having the ability to get
things to space more frequently or cheaper is allowing
new things to happen. We'll be part of the first
private mission to Mars, which I think is a pretty
exciting milestone. - With rocket engines, a part
of the learning process is that things are going to go wrong, you are probably going
to break some things. - We have to use the right
tool for the right problem, and having a lot of tools with one partner is a real win for us, and that's how we're gonna
go faster than others.
