- All right, now that I do have my part 107, can I fly anywhere? - Well, not everywhere. There are some spaces which are controlled, like near airports and in some military facilities. And you just can not fly there without permission. - Now in order to fly in controlled airspace, you have to get authorization through LAANC. And to do that, I usually do it through Skyward and I just log into my account and then I apply. How do you usually do it? - I also use Skyward. So I have the free account. I log in and then I apply to my LAANC authorization through that website. (whooshing sound) - So I'm here at skyward.io. And the first thing you want to do, is when you make an account, is that you want to make sure that all your information is in, because if you're missing your phone number, your address, your email address, your authorization will not go through.
