- [Instructor] Another type of zone that we can create is a special type of zone, called a Stub zone. Now I will tell you that Stub zones are typically the most confusing to most people when you're first learning about this. And so for simplicity, I like to just say that a Stub zone provides something called Dynamic Delegation. So I'd like to show you what that means, Dynamic Delegation, and then how to create the Stub zone. So here I am in the DNS manager on DC one, and I am authoritative for the landonhotel.local domain, but over on member one, we have created a new zone called child.landonhotel.local, okay? In preparation for a sub-domain that would be created. Now one thing that can be done, and it's kind of the old fashioned way of doing it, is we could create a delegation. So if I click on landonhotel.local, I can right click and I can select to create a New Delegation. It takes me into the New Delegation…
