Connecting to and cleaning data
- [Narrator] Power BI is an excellent tool to use if you're looking to connect to multiple data sources, then, later, clean up those data sources. That's exactly what we're going to do in this video. We're going to connect to the exercise file in this course, then, address any data quality issues that might arise. The first step is to select Get data. Make sure that Excel is highlighted, as the exercise file is an Excel file. Then, select Connect. Find wherever you downloaded your exercise file, and then, Open. Next, the navigator window will appear. This is where you can customize how you're connecting to your data source. Make sure that you select all three tabs, as each has important information. Then, select Load. I'm currently in the reports view of Power BI, but we can still see that each individual data source has been pulled into Power BI. Let's head over to the data view, and see if there are any data quality…
