Use your experience to land a different full-time job

- You're bound to have at least one internship experience that makes you realize you definitely are not interested in that line of work. This is a good thing. You've narrowed down your focus. You can leverage all of your experiences to get the job you really want. To do this, keep track of the work you did, and position the work in a way that ties to the work you want to do. Let's look at an example. Imagine you thought you were interested in consumer products, so you landed an internship at a large manufacturing company. During your internship, you helped create a strategy to expand their product into other markets. In doing this, you talked with people around the country to understand how needs differ by geography.
