- Companies are different, their products are different. And even when two companies have similar products, how those products are created and delivered to consumers, that can also be different. So how can supply chain managers better understand the ESG strengths and weaknesses within their own supply chain? Well, so far we've discussed stakeholders, objectives, KPIs and supply chain maps. But another tool or process that organizations use as part of their ESG strategy is life cycle analysis. You may also hear people refer to this as life cycle assessment. In any case, life cycle analysis helps organizations measure ESG, not just within the supply chain, but also beyond the supply chain.
