- Take a moment to consider, based on David Bessent's story an example, what's one action you might take to make his success story a part of your success story? Consider these suggestions from both David and myself. The first one, I'm going to go all the way back to the beginning, was stand up for someone and bring them under your wing. And you can do that as a mentor. You can do that with anyone in your life. So if you're aware, those of you who are listening, be aware of someone who might need you to stand up for them. And maybe you can bring them under your wing and maybe you can mentor them and set them on the right path. So, you know, just ask yourself, is there someone in my life that needs that? Well, the second one, build people up. Get to know people. Appreciate the value of people, and think about people you work with. And whenever you talk about them, do things to compliment them.
