- To get you moving with your first big story, allow me to remind you that this is a skill. It feels magical when done correctly, but it's not. It's just your ideas, structured effectively, and delivered sincerely. That's a skill, and any skill can be mastered with the right patience and persistence. So consider carving out regular time each week for you to actively think about the latest story you've been working on. Whether it's five minutes or 30, the point is, it's smart to try to make it a regularly occurring activity you engage. It's an investment, and the payoff is huge. When done correctly, you will humanize yourself, become more relatable and approachable, and will generally help build comfort and rapport with your employees and colleagues. What's that worth?
