This is a mixed reality CGI ad on social media made up of both real video footage of city landmarks and computer animated elements interacting together for a very lifelike result. Luxury apparel brands like Jacquemus, Balenciaga, and Jimmy Choo as well as Baskin Robbins, the NBA and Barbie, have all leveraged these short duration CGI social videos to make a splash. For example, makeup brand, Maybelline published a video on TikTok and Instagram where London's iconic tube and red buses are adorned with enormous eyelashes and use an equally huge mascara wand as they pass by the subway station and drive down the street.
