When you're tracking your work with Smartsheet, there are naturally going to be times when you need to converse with your teammates about the details for the project or its individual tasks. Instead of having to switch to another app or deal with a bunch of individual email threads, you can have these conversations in Smartsheet itself. This allows you to keep all the conversations in one place, on the sheet itself, where everyone can see them, contribute to the conversation, and refer back to them. Like attachments, you can apply comments to single rows or to the entire sheet. To add a column to a row, just click the "Comment" button on that row and that opens up the conversation panel. And here, you can type in your comment. This can be anything from a general comment or a question to a comment directed specifically at one of your teammates.
