What are sales channels?
- [Narrator] One of the things that Shopify does very well is they understand the difference between your online store and your business. Your business is so much bigger than a website and Shopify helps you branch out into other places, where you can sell your products. You can sell them in person with the Shopify POS app. You can cross list your inventory on amazon.com. You can cross list your inventory on eBay, and your customers can buy directly from Instagram and Facebook without actually having to visit your website. Shopify calls these sales channels and you might hear them called marketing channels. When it comes to marketplaces like Amazon, Walmart, and eBay, you could manually list your products, but these integrations let you sync inventory and it imports all orders into your Shopify admin.
