- We've gone through the steps to create a simple product, but merchants often have one or more products with options like a shirt that comes in different sizes and colors. In Shopify, these are called variant products and Shopify gives us the power to create one product page with a few different options. This is good for the user, because they can browse through everything faster and it's great for the store manager, because they have fewer products to manage. So, let's create a variant product. We're going to continue working on the previous product. So, we're going to scroll down and under options we're going to click this product has options like size or color. For option name, you can select one of the pre-created options like size, color, style, or you can type one in. For us, we're going to type in a custom one called players.
