Using the Events web part

Using the Events web part

- [Instructor] The next piece that we're going to add to our page is our events calendar, and this is our events web part. In one of our open sections at the bottom of the page, let's go ahead and add that web part. Again, hover over the section and click the Add new web part button. To find the events web part let's go ahead and search and select the web part. We have two options for the events web part layout. The default is Filmstrip. Our second option is Compact. Depending on how much space you have on your page and the position of your web part, be sure to pick the one that makes sense for you. Let's go ahead and change the title. This is a brand new events calendar. As we add events to the site, they will be displayed here. To save your changes, click the Save and close button. By using the events web part, you can keep your audience informed about upcoming events. Keep updating your events section to ensure it remains relevant and engaging.
