- [Instructor] Today we're diving into the world of SharePoint. Let's go ahead and navigate to our SharePoint dashboard. From your homepage in Microsoft 365, in the upper left-hand corner, you should find the App Launcher button. From the apps available, select SharePoint. This brings us to our SharePoint dashboard where all of the SharePoint sites that we have access to are available to us. On the left hand side, you should see Following, Recent, and Featured Links. We're focusing on communication sites today, so let's go ahead and go to The Landing. SharePoint communication sites are just like a newspaper, and at this organization, The Landing is the main page of the newspaper. However, just like other communication sources, like newspapers, we should have different sections. Across the top of the page, we have a navigation bar, and if we expand those, these are like the sections of the newspaper. Different areas of the organization have their area of focus.
