Customizing the site header and footer
- [Instructor] The final step in designing your site involves customizing your header and your footer. The header appears at the top of the page and is consistent across the entire site. The footer is at the bottom of the page, and again, is consistent across your entire site. So what is there needs to be consistent and it needs to be helpful. Let's look at our options. To change your header and footer, click the Settings button and select Change the look. From the options, select Header. Our options for our header include Minimal, Compact, Standard, and Extended. Depending on the screen size of your visitors, you might want to pay attention to how much you allocate to the header of the page. We're going to add a Hero web part to this page at a later time. I'm going to use Minimal for this option. Our next option is what color we want the background to be. These colors will be in line with your branding. I like the teals. We'll leave that as is.
