- [Instructor] Do I need to acquire a new team, network, or resource to be successful? Ask yourself, is my team prepared to be successful with this new venture? The new business activity may need just the right person or the right resource to be successful. This does not mean all aspects of the venture be brand new. The point is you must leverage an existing strength, or the personnel, or resource. You may need to find new people or build a new list of leads. Here's another example. Some rehabbers I know have one member of their team who is an inspector. So the inspector, to be able to do that had to go get a license. They had to go get some education and get a license to do that. He remains a team member on the core rehab business but he also can go be an inspector. Now again, this is hugely helpful when they're looking at houses to buy and rehab, but it also generates a little extra activity. So this person…
