Introduction to user-acceptance testing (UAT)
- Welcome to the user acceptance testing portion of this course. User acceptance testing is very, very important, as with many of the other things on this course and on the exam. User acceptance testing also is often referred to as UAT, so just user acceptance testing, all of the first letters of that. So if I use the acronym following this for this section, they'll be able to understand what that is. But user acceptance testing is essentially getting your users to see that we have delivered a really great solution and that they're ready to move forward into implementing it into their current business processes and they are ready for development. So understanding this section and how to deal with stakeholders in this section when issues arise is very important for the exam and beyond in your business analyst or further-on career.
