- [Instructor] So let's jump into documentation. Documentation is very, very, very, very, very, very important. I don't think I can overstate how important it is for you to document things. Documentation is really helpful to keep the record straight, keep things current, and up-to-date you can go back and recognize what the client wants, and it can help you communicate with the client. The goal is going to be if someone who is new to the project, they can jump in. Let's say you are the business analyst. You have to leave the project for whatever reason. You maybe get sick, maybe get strep throat, maybe your partner had a child until you're on parental leave, what have you. The goal is that they can go, the new person who's going to be filling in for you, they can go and see the documentation and they can jump pretty quickly in after reviewing that documentation.
