- [Instructor] Since elevator shafts are a structural item, it's good to address them. The objective of this video is to add a 203 millimeter CMU wall that extends from the first floor to the roof. Then we'll add a 203 millimeter foundation wall that goes from the first floor to the top of the footing. In Revit, I'm going to open Structural 11. I'm going to go up to level one. I'm going to zoom into this area here. I'm going to go to my structure tab. Let's go to wall structural. I'm going to click the drop down here, and I'll grab generic 225 millimeter masonry. Click edit type. Let's duplicate it. Instead of 225, let's call it 203. Generic 203 millimeter masonry. Backspace. Click OK. For structure, let's click edit. For the thickness, instead of 225, we'll go 203. Hit OK. Hit OK. I'd like to get rid of the architectural plan. In the project browser, let's scroll down. Let's click the X next to Revit links. Right click architectural.rvt. And I want to unload it. I can't use the undo…
