Sketching
- [Instructor] Sketching remotely, what? Well, yes, okay, here's the thing. Just because you're remote, does not mean that you can't still use analog methods. I've conducted several brainstorming sessions where each person sketched on a piece of paper alone, and then either held their paper up to the screen or took a picture of their sketch and shared it with the group. For both clarity and posterity's sake, my preference is to set up a shared slide deck, then dedicate about 30 seconds at the end of each sketching activity to have each person upload a picture of their sketches to the shared file. I find that this works particularly well when you're using something like the crazy eight activity, where participants are asked to sketch eight different responses to a single prompt in eight minutes, and then you do another round of sketching based on your favorite idea.
