Create a tabbed interface
- [Instructor] In this exercise, we apply what we have learned so far in this chapter and apply it to a tabbed interface. Tabs are one of the most used techniques when it comes to mobile UIs. They allow users to quickly move between a small number of equally important views. The general idea of tabs comes from leafing through the index cards in a drawer of a card catalog. So let's get started with a tabbed interface and to get yourself started, open the Tabs file found in your chapter download. When it opens, you will see we have three art boards which will allow the user to move between three different sections of the project. As you can also see, there is an indicator, that's a purple bar and the subject of that cart or the subject of that screen is lit up. If it's not lit up, it's grayed out.
