- [Instructor] By now, you should be feeling pretty comfortable with Power BI filters. However, I'll be honest, in my experience, they can feel rather limiting. I like to describe filters as being sticky. So if we know that something won't need to change, or where the report author should maintain control over the selection, then keeping filters is totally fine. But if we eventually want other users to interact with the reports and be easily able to toggle different selections, then there's something else that we can use instead called slices. Let's start by making sure the pie chart is selected, and then go ahead and remove the transaction year filter. But let's keep the make filter as I'm happy for the top six selection to be controlled by myself as the report author.
