- [Instructor] Power BI has some default relationship settings to help us work with relationships for the data we bring in from tables. In the file menu, select options and settings, options and on the current file, we'll see the option to select our data load options. From here, we see that two options for relationships are selected by default. The first import relationships from data sources on first load. This gives Power BI permission to import relationships from data sources. So when you're using multiple data sources, this may not be ideal to leave on by default, especially if you want to have control over and configure your own relationships. The next option is to auto detect new relationships after the data is loaded. This gives Power BI permission to auto detect relationships based on the data that is in the model.
