- [Instructor] The purpose of this short exercise is to show you how to do a different type of clash test called the duplicate clash. So what I'm going to do is just simulate an adder where I can take a structural component and I can copy it to the clipboard and I'm going to paste it to the same place. So if somebody were actually drawing and placing objects on top of objects, whether they're light fixtures or diffusers, they would get this message. But these messages can be turned off. And sometimes people just blow right past them and continue to model. So I've got a duplicate and here what I'm going to do is just save the file. I'm going to switch to Navisworks and I'm going to append the file that we were just looking at. So if I do append and it's the file called structural central duplicates. That's it creating the NWC file and the revit file will appear in the structure tree. So setup the view the way that I want it. I'm going to load the UI option for workspaces clash…
