- Facilitation is a wonderful way to drive high performance in meetings. A critical component to achieving an organization's mission. It's also a key driver to reduce the astronomical cost of poor, inefficient and ineffective meetings. Anyone can be a facilitator by adopting the skills we discussed. In this course we focused on the role and power of facilitation, the mindset needed to facilitate and how to drive success as a facilitator before, during and after a meeting. Transcending your impact as a facilitator can happen if you can help the team intimately connect and have fun. If you want more information on facilitation, the best reference I can suggest is Roger Schwarz's book, The Skilled Facilitator. As you begin your facilitation journey, check out the components of this course and try on one at a time.
